Service Description
Come join us for a fun and creative workshop with illustrator Jedda Robaard. We’ll be drawing and painting a platypus, just like the one from her latest picture book, ‘Where the river runs free’. Jedda will show you how to draw your very own platypus, sharing some handy tips and tricks along the way. Once your platypus is sketched, grab your watercolours and get painting. Watch your platypus come to life with some splashy colours! 1 - 3pm Parents and guardians are welcome to book too. Jedda Robaard is an Australian author, illustrator and designer known internationally for her sweet and whimsical style of illustration. Jedda studied as a commercial artist in 1992 and after an initial career in graphic design moved her focus to illustration. She has been illustrating and writing children’s books since 2011 and has over 50 books published, many of them award-winning, including The Littlest Penguin, winner of the Environment Award for Children's Literature. Her books are sold internationally and have been published in many languages. Her workshops are friendly, relaxed, and easy to follow, making everyone feel welcome. Cancellation Policy
Please note if you cancel your booking with more than 72 hours notice, we will issue a full refund or a credit to use towards another workshop or class. If you cancel within 72 - 24 hours of the session, you will be issued a credit for a future workshop or class. Any cancellations within 24 hours will be considered a "No Show". "No Shows" will be charged the full amount without refund. Please note a 7-day notice is required for group bookings of 8+ people. Note: We may cancel a session that does not have sufficient bookings. If we are to do so, we will notify you at least 24 hours prior to cancelling, so that you can make other arrangements.
