Service Description
When drawing the figure, hands and feet are notoriously difficult to get right. In this workshop you will be taken through the proportions and movements of both hands, feet and the head through identifying gesture, proportion, and the moving parts. After making simple tweaks to your current drawing practice and learning easy-to-make mistakes to avoid, you’ll be able to identify how to bring more life and accuracy to your figure drawing! Skill level: you will need some prior experience with drawing the figure Age group: 16+ Time: 10am – 3pm with lunch break. BYO lunch (fridge and microwave available) Artist Bio: Michael Nay is a teacher and artist whose studio practice includes Painting and Drawing. Michael has studied and taught painting and drawing throughout his life, and in recent years has taught introductory to advanced painting and drawing at TAFE and University. Michael is passionate about drawing the human figure, object composition, architecture, landscape and travel journaling in a variety of wet and dry mediums. All equipment and materials provided.
Cancellation Policy
Please note if you cancel your booking with more than 72 hours notice, we will issue a full refund or a credit to use towards another session. If you cancel within 72 - 24 hours of the session, you will be issued a credit for another session. Any cancellations within 24 hours will be considered a "No Show". "No Shows" will be charged the full amount without refund. Please note a 7-day notice is required for group bookings of 8+ people. Note: We may cancel a session that does not have sufficient bookings. If we are to do so, we will notify you at least 24 hours prior to cancelling, so that you can make other arrangements.
