Figure Painting from Life

Service Description

This workshop is aimed at lovers of life drawing who would like the opportunity to paint the nude from life. As the painting process requires more time than sketching we will focus on a small number of longer poses, ending with a 2.5 hour pose (min). Skill level: You need some experience with life drawing and a basic understanding of painting Age group: 16+ (Please note there will be a nude model) 10am – 3pm including lunch break. BYO lunch. Fridge and microwave available Artist Bio: Yvette has been involved in the creative arts as both and artist and an educator for 4 decades and has taught in high schools, TAFEs, prisons and universities. She has a Bachelor of Education, a Masters, and a PhD in fine art and worked at the UTAS School of Creative Arts & Media for 23 years, including as Head of Painting. Yvette is now the Creative Director of Archaica Schola. All equipment and materials provided.
