Service Description

Come along and get creative with Jedda Robaard, a talented Australian illustrator, as she shows you how to paint mushrooms with watercolours. Whether you’re totally new to painting or have been doing it for ages, this laid-back workshop is all about having fun and learning some great tricks for making beautiful mushroom art. Mushrooms come in lots of colours, shapes, and patterns, so they’re perfect for experimenting with watercolour. You’ll learn how to show off their unique personalities in your art and maybe see the natural world in a new way. Here’s What You’ll Learn • Getting started with watercolours - How to use brushes, mixing colours • Sketching mushrooms - Tips on drawing them so they look natural and interesting • Adding details - Painting the gills, spots, and giving your mushrooms some character • Finishing up - Putting in shadows, backgrounds, and making your painting your own Artist: Jedda Robaard Bio: Jedda Robaard is an Australian author, illustrator and designer known internationally for her sweet and whimsical style of illustration. Jedda studied as a commercial artist in 1992 and after an initial career in graphic design moved her focus to illustration. She has been illustrating and writing children’s books since 2011 and has over 50 books published, many of them award-winning, including The Littlest Penguin, winner of the Environment Award for Children's Literature. Her books are sold internationally and have been published in many languages. Her workshops are friendly, relaxed, and easy to follow, making everyone feel welcome.
